What does a Student Ambassador do?

Welcome and greet the public at Relay events

Provide information about Relay to guests

Develop an expanded knowledge about Relay's mission and purpose

Conduct community engagement for Relay and other partner organizations

Work with diverse populations and provide tips on being a successful student

Attend required training and meetings
-
Assist with creative elements for Relay, including but not limited to the management of social media, newsletters, and other communication tools

Other duties as assigned

What does it take to be a Student Ambassador?

Must be in grades 5th – 11th Grade

Must have completed the 4th Grade but have not graduated high school

Passing all classes or having earned and maintaining a 3.0 GPA
-
Must commit to 12 months of service (i.e., April to April)

Demonstrate strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills Exhibit leadership, initiative, dependability, discipline, and enthusiasm
